Pablo Lorente-Melilla 2011

Dreaming of Paradise.
I've been twice and I'll get it again, I told Omar, one of the days I spent with him.
Every night when the vast majority of the world's children dream of being heroes, a few of them are engaged in trying to fit into one of the containers of ships making the crossing from Melilla to the mainland. No matter the destination, the case is coming.
We are in the port of Melilla, the path chosen to reach the peninsula. You see them running faster, going downhill and a short hop, skip the first of the hurdles that prevent them from achieving their dream. Tense muscles, rapid breathing. It seems that the Guardia Civil has not seen. First chance at the end of Paseo is the second fence, unattainable for many, but for them is a mere formality, have done thousands of times, down and up again and again, seeking not to be seen and really get to container and will not stay. Two times a night.
